North of China Assistive Devices and Technology Centre for Persons with Disabilities is a government livelihood project jointly invested and constructed by the China Disabled Persons' Federation and the Liaoning Provincial Government. The construction area is about 12000 square meters, it was completed and officially put into use in 2016. It is a comprehensive service base integrating the adaptation of assistive devices for people with disabilities, talent training, assistive device function display services, scientific research and development, and is one of the six regional centers designated by the China Disabled Persons' Federation. It is also the first regional center to be constructed and used.
